Front End

I have practical experience creating and customizing responsive websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap. I work confidently in WordPress, including theme setup, starter templates, and customization, as well as using page builders like Elementor and the native WordPress block editor to design user-friendly sites. I also have a strong grasp of SEO best practices, making sure sites are not only visually appealing but also optimized for search performance. My focus is on delivering clean, functional, and mobile-friendly designs that align with business goals and enhance user experience.

Back end

I have experience working with PHP and MySQL for WordPress customization and site functionality. My projects have included setting up databases, managing content structure, and ensuring smooth integration between the front-end and back-end. I also have exposure to SQL from my academic and internship work, which included database queries, data management, and reporting. My focus is on building stable, functional, and SEO-friendly websites, where the back-end supports clean performance, efficient content management, and scalability for business needs.

Design

I have hands-on experience in graphic and web design, creating professional logos, branding assets, and marketing materials using tools like Canva Pro and Figma. I’m skilled at designing intuitive website layouts and wireframes, with a focus on user-friendly interfaces and brand consistency. I’ve also worked across multiple CMS platforms including WordPress, Squarespace, and Wix, customizing themes and templates to align with business goals and visual identity. My design approach balances creativity and functionality, ensuring that each project is both visually engaging and practical.

About me

I’m a web developer with an associate degree in Computer Information Systems from Purdue Global, where I graduated with a 4.0 GPA and a concentration in computer programming.

Right now, I’m expanding my skills through two certifications: the Google Project Management Certificate and CompTIA Security+ — both in progress.

My real passion is building websites that are both beautiful and functional. I’ve worked on projects for skincare brands, wellness professionals, and content creators — handling everything from WordPress builds to SEO strategy and technical troubleshooting.

Whether I’m writing code, editing a theme, or reporting SEO results, I show up, figure it out, and get it done. I’m currently seeking a full-time role where I can keep learning, contribute to a great team, and help businesses grow online.
